Found in: wedding

Four months from today

I will:

  1. wonder how to sneak the big bottle of saline on to the plane because I forgot to buy the travel size.
  2. kick myself for not ordering a pair of glasses.
  3. search our room frantically for my tatty pair of pink velor pants because it’s my favorite.
  4. find them bunched up in the bottom of the dirty laundry hamper because I was too stressed over the last week to wash them.
  5. pack them anyway.
  6. debate if 3 pair of shoes is really enough for 2 weeks worth of travel?
  7. decide it’s not and grab two more.
  8. go to pack them and realize there’s no room because the boy’s already packed 6 pairs of shoes.
  9. wonder where the second suitcase is?
  10. find it half filled with more of the boy’s stuff.
  11. grumble that he has too much stuff.
  12. listen sheepishly as he points out that I’ve attempted to pack half our bookcase.
  13. agree that we should have bought a kindle.
  14. realize I have no idea where my passport is.
  15. search frantically for it.
  16. find it in the filing cabinet in the folder labeled “passports”.
  17. kick myself for not packing sooner.
  18. have the millionth heart to heart with our puppy about not chewing on his tie.
  19. freak out because the car that is picking us up is 15 minutes late.
  20. get married.

love this. because it is so true. except I over pack and I bring a gajillion books (what if I read them all?). I wanted a Kindle but it was the wedding or a Kindle. And even then it was kind of a toss up. Maybe for Christmas.

But it is in four months. Yay!

eeek exciting 4 months and less by now. I never pack until the last minute I don’t understand people that pack earlier than the night before. That doesn’t mean that I haven’t packed about 3 times in my head and have a gazillion lists of things to do and remember.

This sounds exactly like Mr B & I trying to pack. So funny. What you want to pack is ALWAYS dirty, can never find Mr B’s passport and we always take too many books and shoes.

Four months! Enjoy it, goes so quickly.

I love this post. It is so me. And I find it hilarious that he takes more shoes than you.
