I realize I’ve been slacking off here since the wedding. Which was almost 2 months ago. Can you believe it? When we got engaged last September I thought I would burst from the waiting. July seemed so far away and now it’s this little dot in the distance that we’re speeding away from.
There are times when I wish I could make the world stop, give me a minute to re-orient myself, catch a breath. I suck at change. I’m trying to be better with it, embrace the unknown or some such thing. I’ll tell you how it goes.
This is all to say that there will be some changes going on here. I don’t want to abandon my little blog but I do need to figure out where I’m going with it. I have the wedding to still tell you about, of course, and Australia too, but I’d like to start talking about other things and even maybe just pop in here to say hello without any excessive navel gazing (hard for me, but I’m going to try).
I thought to kick start it all, I’d give this place a little makeover. So if you some funny business here over the weekend, it’s just me tinkering around behind the scenes.

Oooo very excited!
i so feel you on this….. take your time. our wedding wasn’t even two weeks ago and it already feels so far from us. no worries, we’ll be here to say hi back to you when we pop in and i’m sure we’ll love the new digs. <3
Ooh looking forward to seeing the new look. I feel exactly the same – not sure which direction to go in now that the wedding is over.
oooh! very excited for changes and updates!
you’re not alone in making blog changes post wedding. I think we’ve all done a bit of that. but I didn’t stop because I really hate the idea of losing this little community of ladies that have experienced something similar so recently. we are more than just brides, we are ladies with a lot of awesomeness. you in particular. I admit I have started to get a bit shy with my blogging, so I tend to comment with more honesty than I just put out there.
Anyway, I’m certain your shiny pretty bits aren’t just because of the wedding and I look forward to seeing what you’ve do with the place (and I bumped you up to my daily reads link list too).
the post-wedding wedding blog is a slippery thing.
i was happiest when i decided i didn’t need to have a label for my blog. if i can just ramble and be content with having no readers/comments, then i’m gonna keep doin it.
